Inglestone House, bed & breakfast guest house

About us

Click on the bedrooms for a closer look.

We have been running Inglestone House since 1997 and it is now famed for its charm and friendly atmosphere.

In striving for the very best in comfort for our guests, we have recently had the house completely refurbished. Under our careful management it's been transformed, retaining its handsome Victorian character but incorporating many new and helpful features.

This is very much a private, family-run guest house designed to make your stay in Kelso more relaxing, more comfortable and even more of a pleasure.

Our Bedrooms

We're a non-smoking Guest House throughout.

BreakfastAll bedrooms are welcoming, cosy and beautifully decorated in traditional Borders style. Every room is en suite, has colour TV plus tea and coffee making facilities.

Rooms to the front look across to Kelso's famous Abbey, others take in views of the old town square.

Breakfast

Breakfasts are served between 08.00am and 09.30am.

Disabled Access

BreakfastTwo of our rooms have been specially redesigned (Category 2) to provide ground floor access for our disabled and wheelchair guests. As an added benefit, we're pleased to offer you breakfast in your room.

Families

We also have a bright new family suite, a neat combination of areas comprising a twin bedroom with a connecting bunk bedroom. As a further option for families, there are two additional children's beds in the main bedroom area. We also have a family breakfasting area available.

Drying and Laundry

Whatever your pursuit, we can't promise you eternal sunshine so there will be times when you'll appreciate our drying room for your outdoor clothes. You also have the use of a washing machine, tumble-dryer, ironing facility and trouser press.

Secure Storage

Indoors, under lock and key, you can safely store all your necessary golf, fishing or riding equipment. For cyclists, we have a sheltered and secure rack in our private, walled courtyard.

Parking

There's free car parking around the Abbey Row area to the front of Inglestone House.

Cyclists Welcome. Walkers Welcome.
